You won't hunt on overharvested land
We have 9000 acres and we take only 16 bowhunters and 8 rifle hunters per year in Missouri. In Iowa we take only 8 bowhunters and 4 shotgun hunters per year.

Located on the Iowa Missouri line with hunting land leases in Iowa and Missouri, you can hunt either state. Booking a guided or semi guided whitetail deer hunt or wild turkey hunt with us will be one of the most enjoyable experiences of your life. The hunts are next to none and every hunt includes your lodging, delicious home cooked meals, scent free soap, transportation to and from your stand (not to mention that Possum and his staff have already picked the best possible hunting spots to increase your hunting success), A Beautiful newly remodeled lodge, small town hospitality and a chance to hunt some of the biggest whitetail bucks around.

You can expect a wholesome environment
At Possums Trading Post Outfitters. We do not allow alcohol on the premisis and we do not allow smoking in the lodge, because serious hunting requires extreme awareness and scent control. We want the lodge to be a place you feel comfortable, a place where you can bring your spouse or older children. We welcome you to book a family package (Extra charges apply) NRA

We emphasize safe hunting
as well as respect for our landowners' property. For the sake of future generations of hunters, and safety regulations we require that our hunters be members of the NRA. If you are not a current member we will get you signed up.

  • Scent control is our number one priority. When you book a hunt with us you can expect

  • Free scent free shampoo & body wash. (Scent Free Laundry detergent with Blood Remover and Scent Free Moisturizer Gel are available for purchase)

  • On site washer and dryer where you can "re-charge" your scent lock suit.
